The Innovation Network is the people system that keeps innovation alive across the whole organisation. It is not a team, it is a connected community of Champions, partners, and staff embedded across every BU, making sure innovation is not something that only happens in the Hub.
What do they focus on
Opportunity Portal
Open to every member of staff and every partner, anyone can submit a problem or observation. The best ones feed directly into the Scan and Identify backlog and get picked up by the Hub.
Innovation Academy
Trains and certifies Innovation Champions. Two cohorts a year, covering the skills and mindset needed to run innovation inside a BU, from problem framing and user research through to running sprints and embedding solutions.
Innovation Champions
Practitioners sitting inside every BU. They pull problems into Scan and Identify, help run sprints in Ideate and Test, and drive adoption in MVP and Scale. They are the connective tissue between the Hub and the business, and the reason innovation does not stop at the Hub's door.
Ecosystem Partners
PIF entities, academia, ministries, startups, technology companies, consultants, and vendors who plug in at any stage. Technology signals at Scan and Identify, sprint support at Ideate and Test, integration and build help at MVP and Scale.
